Promoting Yourself on The Internet 

On social media platforms such as Reddit or Youtube, you have many tools at your disposal. However, what matters is that you utilize them to their full potential. One way you can do this is to not act as a "corporate entity" but to interact with your customer base and be conversational, adding some personality or notion of "being human".
 Your posts should also work to create connections with the reader in some way, whether it is educational or it serves them in some way, being a voice in the social media scene to raise awareness can also drive traffic to your business.
 Once your blog or other social media page starts to grow, you should then focus on your long-term visibility and scalability.

A Plan of My Own

I intend to utilize these principles of online marketing by having an active presence on Twitter and having an active blog on the official website. Customer support should always be readily available and, to help facilitate communication between businesses, once a month I will post a Q&A blog post.
